Colloquium on Performance of the Place

On 14 May, at 2.30pm, a Colloquium on the Performance of Place was held at the Porto School of Art. This event, organised as part of the Architecture and Performing Arts seminar of the Integrated Master’s Degree in Architecture, in collaboration with the Performing Arts Study Group of the Arnaldo Araújo Study Centre and the Theatre Degree, featured several presentations on the relationship between the performing and plastic arts and place.

Diogo Liberano presented the dramaturgical writing project he carried out in Azevedo, Campanhã, on the initiative of A Pele, while Rodrigo Paglieri spoke about his artistic work presented in Spain, Portugal and Brazil, namely the project developed with ESAP students. Aurora dos Campos discussed the process of creating scenography based on research into the São Pedro da Cova Coal Mines, while Carlos Costa and Jorge Palinhos discussed the Cidades de Bronze project, about the statuary of Porto, and presented the book and video resulting from the project.
