II) Bachelors degree, preferably in the area of Visual Arts as well as others considered suitable
b) Scientific curriculum
c) Professional curriculum
d) Possible interview as complementary criterion
1) The curricular analysis (AC) will be made taking into account the following parameters:
a) Academic curriculum (CA) – weighting the academic qualifications required, as follows:
I) with a final bachelors degree (or equivalent) grade: 10-13 points ………………..12 points (0 to 20 scale)
II) with a final bachelors degree (or equivalent) grade: 14-16 points ………………..15 points (0 to 20 scale)
III) with a final bachelors degree (or equivalent) grade: 17-20 points ………………..18 points (0 to 20 scale)
b) Scientific Curriculum (CC) – taking into account the applicants’ participation in congresses, seminars, research projects, number of articles published, prizes and similar elements, on a scale of 0 to 20 points, as long as these are activities in the scientific area of the study cycle, in following terms:
I) Very little relevant curriculum:10 points
II) Slightly relevant curriculum:12 points
III) Relevant curriculum:14 points
IV) Very relevant curriculum:16 points
V) Extremely relevant curriculum:18 points
c) Professional Curriculum (CP) – taking into account, on a scale of 0 to 20 points, the duration and nature of the professional duties exercised, as long as they are they are qualified by employment contract or on an independent basis, in the scientific area of the study cycle, as follows:
I) Very little relevant curriculum:10 points
II) Slightly relevant curriculum:12 points
III) Relevant curriculum:14 points
IV) Very relevant curriculum:16 points
V) Extremely relevant curriculum:18 points
2) In addition to the curricular assessment, an individual interview (EI) may be held whenever the assessment of the academic, scientific and professional curriculum is not sufficiently distinctive of the position of different applicants, taking into account the following competences and capacities:
I) Ability to express and communicate
II) Motivation for entrance in the study cycle
The classification of each member will result from the arithmetic average of the scores assigned, on a scale of 0 to 20 points, for each of the two assessment factors I) and II).
3) Final classification will be scored by using the following formula, on a scale of 0 to 20 points: AC = (CA*X+CC+CP)/3.
Being:
AC = Curricular analysis
CA = Academic curriculum
CC = Scientific curriculum
CP = Professional curriculum
X’s weighting factor assumes one of the following:
X = 1.3 for applicants with a bachelor degree in the area of Visual Arts.
X = 1.0 for applicants with a bachelor degree in all other areas considered suitable
4) If it is stated the need to perform an individual assessment (EI), the final classification’s formula is adapted as follows: CF = (AC+EI)/2
Being:
CF = Final classification
AC = Curricular analysis (Academic+scientific+professional curricula)
EI = Individual assessment
5. Scores resulting from the calculation of averages shall be expressed to the hundredths, by rounding, in each selection method and also in the final classification, by default or by excess, according to whether the value of the thousandths is less than or equal to five.
