Pedro Neves Premieres Os Continuadores da Revolução at Doclisboa 2026

Filmmaker and lecturer at the Porto School of Arts (ESAP), Pedro Neves, will present the world premiere of his documentary Os Continuadores da Revolução in the Portuguese Competition at Doclisboa 2026.

Filmed over nine years, the documentary was produced by Red Desert (Portugal), in co-production with JBA (France) and Incomati Filmes (Mozambique).

Os Continuadores da Revolução will open the festival’s Portuguese Competition on 16 October at 9:45 pm, in the Manoel de Oliveira Auditorium at Cinema São Jorge, Lisbon. A second screening will take place on 22 October at 11:00 am, in Screen 3 of the same cinema.

The film’s participation in Doclisboa marks the international debut of a new work by the filmmaker, featured in the competitive programme of one of Portugal’s leading documentary film festivals.
