Television Practice Exercises

As part of the Television Practices course, first-year students on the Film and Audiovisual Studies program had the opportunity to take part in a theoretical and practical class with an RTP camera operator.
The operator in question was Pedro Silva, a professional with over two decades of experience and a specialist in Steadicam operation.
After analyzing some of his work, the students had the opportunity to observe the time-consuming and demanding preparation of this equipment and, more importantly, to try it out for themselves, as if they were professionals.
This was a rare opportunity provided in a very important context in the connection between academia and the world of broadcast work.
