“Our Tell-Tale Heart”, by Miguel Ferreira nominated at MOTELX 2023

“Our Tell-Tale Heart”, by Miguel Ferreira, alumni from Cinema and Audiovisual bachelor degree, is nominated in the Best Portuguese Horror Short Film category at this year’s edition of MOTELX – Lisbon International Horror.

The project, in addition to Miguel Ferreira, counts with the following ESAP alumni, Diogo Oliveira (Cinema and Audiovisual), Luísa Azevedo (Cinema and Audiovisual), Maria Moreira (Visual Arts – Photography) and Rute Moreira (Theatre).

“Our Tell-Tale Heart” is based on the work of Edgar Allan Poe

Synopsis: During the dictatorship of the ‘New State’, a girl inside a police interrogation room, pleads guilty for murdering a man with a vulture’s eye. A lacerating monologue inspired by the short-story of Edgar Allan Poe.
