ESAP show fills the Café-Concerto of the Constantino Nery Theater

On June 27, at 9:30 p.m., in a completely packed Café-Concerto at the Constantino Nery Theatre, the 2nd year Theatre students from the Escola Superior Artística do Porto presented the musical DESPERTAR, an adaptation of O Despertar da Primavera, an 1891 play by Frank Wedekind, and the rock musical of the same name with music by Duncan Sheik and libretto and lyrics by Steven Sater.

The show was directed by Margarida Machado and Patrícia Franco, with lyrics and text adapted by Patrícia Franco, Margarida Machado and Jorge Palinhos and performed by Bruna Pyres, Cauí Ferreira, Diego Eloy, João Celeste, Leonor Leite, Luana Sol de Carvalho, Lucas Guedes, Lucía Reyes Ruiz, Luna González, Mafalda Valente, Marta Polt, Raquel Velaz and Sara Frederico, with the support of Associação Réptil and Teatro Municipal Constantino Nery.
