

The short film by student Yohanan Khodr, from the Master’s Degree in Directing: Cinema and Television, which was shown at Doclisboa, in the Anos Verdes category and at the Pinus International Film Festival (São Paulo), will be shown at Porto/Post/Doc, category Cinema Novo, on 22 Nov 2023 – Passos Manuel – 3:15 pm.
Synopsis:
Re-imagining Noite Vazia (1964), by Walter Hugo Khouri, Entre Rios is an introspective analysis of a young man’s journey from the Brazilian Northeast to São Paulo. A film in which time and space are suspended.

Bio:
Yohanan is a Lebanese-German filmmaker and photographer based in Lisbon. He holds a bachelor’s and master’s degree in Visual Communication with a focus on documentary photography and experimental film from the Peter Behrens School of Arts in Dusseldorf (Germany). Currently he is studying Directing – Film and Television (Master of Arts) at the Escola Superior Artística do Porto.
