Artistic Residency 2025: work in progress in Chaves

The Artistic Residency 2025, taking place in Chaves until May 9, is progressing with enthusiasm and a strong spirit of collaboration. Film students from ESAP and IPB are continuing the development of two short films — a fiction piece shot in the village of Sanjurge and a documentary focused on the people of Chaves. Under the guidance of tutors Amarante Abramovici and Lucas Tavares, the groups have been alternating between filming sessions, rehearsals, and meetings with local characters. The residency has been marked by a creative and dynamic atmosphere, with participants deepening both their artistic perspective and their connection to the local territory.
