July 18 was the first day of shooting for the students in the artistic residency.
During the documentary shooting, the day was spent with Maria Delfim, owner of Tasca do Delfim, a famous spot in the village: during the shooting, Maria Delfim told numerous stories and presented the concertina collections that she has in her establishment.
The fiction film started with the shooting of the first scene, under a pergola of wisteria in bloom; then, shooting took place inside the Costa do Vez guest house. The day ended with filming at sunset, by the river, with time for a swim.
