Desobedoc – Festival of Insubordinate Cinema returns to Porto from 6 to 8 November, with a programme dedicated to cinema as a space for reflection, resistance and social engagement. This year’s edition takes place at Sala Estúdio Perpétuo, with free admission.
On Friday, 6 November, at 6:00 pm, residência, a film co-directed by Amarante Abramovici and Lucas Tavares, both lecturers at the Porto School of Art (ESAP), will be screened. The film was developed as part of a project with the Albergues do Porto community.
On Sunday morning, 8 November, the programme will also feature screenings for younger audiences, including animated short films by filmmakers Laura Gonçalves and Alexandra Ramires.
Admission is free.
