Directed by Filipa Guedes, the second-year theater students at ESAP presented a version of the musical *Chicago* at the Café-Concerto at the Constantino Néry Municipal Theater.
With one performance sold out, it was necessary to add another show on the same day, which also ended up being very well attended.
Through musical numbers, trials, and public confessions, a troupe of performers revisited the crimes of passion that shook the city of Chicago in the 1920s. The stories took shape through music, movement, and speech, in a constant interplay between truth and performance.
