On April 21, the Escola Superior Artística do Porto (ESAP) hosted a Lavores screening session at its Auditorium, in partnership with the Porto Femme – Festival Internacional de Cinema.
Curated by Amarante Abramovici and Beatriz Diniz, the session focused on “shadow work,” with particular attention to forms of women’s labour that are often invisible, silent, and undervalued.
The programme featured Música para si by Solveig Nordlund and the animated short Cenoura em Partes by ESAP student Íris Silva.
The session was attended by Solveig Nordlund, fostering direct engagement with the academic community.
