Rotem Gerstel is a multidisciplinary artist whose practice varies from sculpture, video, installation, drawing, and sound. Gerstel was born in Israel in 1988 and currently lives and works in Paris. She owns a BFA from Bezalel Academy of Art in Jerusalem, a post-diploma from the European Postgraduate program in Arts in Sound at KASK Academy of Art in Ghent, and a master’s degree from Paris 8 University in Paris where today she pursues a Ph.D. in creative research.  She had participated in several artist residencies such as the Cité Internationale des Arts and the DOC! in Paris, and the Werkraum Warteck PP in Basel. Currently, her studio is part of the residency she is developing at the Poush space in Paris.
