Emmanuelle Ducrocq was born in Morocco and currently lives in France. The subject of her work is an incessant questioning of the place and the inhabitant and, by extension, the uprooting, the border and the passage. The place conveys stories, from the most intimate to the most universal. We live in places that live in ourselves. The work is often a ritualized staging where a place and an object are associated. Between installation, sculpture and in situ creation, she responds and plays with their scenic and symbolic charge.
