Arraial de Quimeras is a project by Inês de Carvalho and the Visões Úteis company. It draws from the company’s costume archive to explore the performative potential of this scenic element.
The project features an exhibition of costumes and illustrations opening on March 19th at Casa São Roque, alongside a festive performance of these same costumes. The performance is brought to life by Theatre students from the Porto Higher School of the Arts (ESAP) and will take place on March 20, 21, 22, 27, 28, and 29, always at 3:30 PM.
Additionally, the project includes the launch of a digital catalog and a colloquium on “The Costume as a Source of Creation,” which will take place on March 26th at 2:00 PM, also at Casa São Roque.
