Residência Opened the Sem Morada Film Series

On 16 July, residência (2025), directed by Amarante Abramovici and Lucas Tavares, opened the Sem Morada film series at Pátio Miraflor. Dedicated to reflecting on the right to land, the city and housing, the series presents a selection of films produced in Portugal and Brazil. Developed in partnership with the Porto Shelters community and supported by Cultura em Expansão 2025, residência is the result of a collaborative filmmaking project centred on issues of housing, the city and social inclusion. Amarante Abramovici is a lecturer in ESAP’s Bachelor’s Degree in Cinema and Audiovisual and Master’s in Directing: Cinema and Television.
