ESAP students present Receita para um Recomeço, at the Constantino Néry Municipal Theatre

Jenna is a young pastry chef trapped in an unhappy marriage who finds refuge in creating pies and in her secret dreams. Between confidences, friendships and unexpected encounters, Jenna rediscovers the strength she thought she had lost and finds, in her own voice, the recipe for a new beginning.

As part of the Singing Curricular Unit, the 2nd year students of ESAP’s Theatre Degree present “Receita para um Recomeç “, an adaptation of the Broadway musical “Waitress”, by Sara Bareilles, in a “Scene Into Song” format, interspersing scenes from the musical with some of its most striking musical themes.
