ESAP participates in the celebrations of National Historic Centers Day

National Historic Centers Day is officially marked on March 28th. In Porto, the celebration is scheduled for the previous weekend, the 23rd and 24th, and invites you to discover the city’s Historic Center, including guided tours, exhibitions, workshops, music, theater, dance and various workshops.

ESAP, once again, is part of the National Day of Historic Centers program with the guided tour to the Teatro Nacional São João, by the Integrated Masters in Architecture of ESAP teacher, Architect João Carreira, author of the rehabilitation project for this building, which was restored, remodeled and re-equipped between 1993 and 1995.

The program, consisting of more than 80 activities, encompasses initiatives for all audiences, including children and families. Museums, monuments, churches and other institutions will open their doors to the population and visitors, with initiatives promoted by 33 entities, under the coordination of the Municipal Directorate of Culture and Heritage of Porto City Council and the collaboration of the municipal company Ágora.
