As Melusinas à Margem do Rio, directed by alumna Melanie Pereira, arrives in cinemas today

The film As Melusinas à Margem do Rio (The Melusinas by the Riverbank), by alumna Melanie Pereira, premieres this Thursday, June 5, with the first screening taking place at Casa Cinema Coimbra. The film won three awards at the 2023 edition of DocLisboa, including the festival’s top prize.

The release will be accompanied by a series of Special Screenings with the director in attendance: on Friday, June 6, at Cinema City Alvalade (Lisbon); on Saturday, June 7, at Casa Cinema Coimbra; and on Sunday, June 8, at Cinema Trindade (Porto).
