Former students Alice Barbosa and Venância Matos were selected for the Theater and Cinema areas.

Former ESAP students Alice Barbosa and Venância Matos were selected for the National Exhibition of Young Creators 2025.

Alice Barbosa, a graduate of the Theater course, was chosen for this area for her project “Rebola, Feminista!” (Shake it, Feminist!), by a jury composed of Carla Chambel and Miguel Sermão.

Venância Matos, a graduate of the Cinema and Audiovisual course, was chosen for the respective area for her film “Como matar o ser em cinco etapas” (How to kill a being in five steps), by a jury composed of Elsa Mendes and Tiago R.Santos.

The National Exhibition of Young Artists is an initiative of the Minister for Youth, managed by the Portuguese Institute of Sport and Youth, which has been held annually since 1997 and is open to Portuguese citizens under the age of 30.

The selected projects, in the areas of Textile Art, Digital Art, Cinema, Disciplinary Intersections, Dance, Recitation, Sculpture, Photography, Humor, Jewelry, Literature, Fashion, Music, Painting, and Theater, will be presented in various venues in the city of Santarém on November 21, 22, and 23, after which a winning project will be chosen from each area.
