ART RESIDENCY — JIYUN PARK

The artist Jiyun Park did an art residency at DÍNAMO in September. This residency programme was organized in partnership with Notgalerie (AT) and Pragovka Gallery (CZ).

Jiyun Park (1990, South Korea) is a media artist based on Germany. By experimenting with different types of materials, she explores sensory and synaesthetic states in search of hidden and inherent sounds, spatial acoustics and performances, crossing borders in relation to space and time. Her works are mostly influenced by the threshold of perception in her surroundings. She also initiates cooperation performances, which often communicate using data or a human-sound interaction.
