Today science observes, treats, and manipulates the human body by instruments that use high-tech microscopic images of the body. Many bio-artists use the microscope as a tool to explore the human body, its tissues, its cells, with the goal of creating “living,” often performative works. The purpose of this short workshop is to show students the possibility of exploring their own bodies and other biological elements, discovering unexplored living landscapes.
