Conversations with Artur Pinheiro, art director and production designer. This cycle of conversations is part of the ESAP/SATH project Art Direction: Methods and Practices II.

Artur Pinheiro studied Graphic Design at the Escola Superior das Artes António Arroio, in Lisbon. He studied Scenic Design at the Escola Superior de Teatro e Cinema, having worked as a Production Designer and Art Director since 2001, in cinema, television and advertising, both for the global and local markets. His CV includes participation in films such as “The Thousand and One Nights”, by Miguel Gomes, “Ramiro”, by Manuel Mozos, and “How to Draw a Perfect Circle”, by Marco Martins. He also does scenography for Theater and Dance projects
