Close-up at ESAP: A Nossa Terra, o Nosso Altar and Masterclass with André Guiomar

On 15 October, ESAP hosts two events as part of the Close-up — Famalicão Film Observatory programme, with filmmaker André Guiomar.

At 10:00, ESAP will screen A Nossa Terra, o Nosso Altar (2020), a documentary portraying the final years of Porto’s Aleixo neighbourhood and the demolition process that led to the disappearance of its community.

At 11:30, André Guiomar will lead a Masterclass with ESAP students, taking the film as a starting point for a conversation about his work and the theme of community throughout his filmography.
