€1,075 Incentive Scholarship for New Higher Education Students

The new Higher Education social support system now includes an Incentive Scholarship worth €1,075, aimed at students entering Higher Education for the first time who are beneficiaries of the 1st tier of the Portuguese Family Allowance (Abono de Família).

The measure aims to support access to and participation in Higher Education for students from lower-income households. The scholarship is awarded as a single payment, subject to application.

New ESAP students who meet the eligibility requirements can apply online through the BeOn platform.
