Elisa Azevedo (b. 1996, Porto, Portugal) lives and works between Lausanne, Switzerland and Lisbon, Portugal.
BA in Multimedia Art – Photography from Faculdade de Belas-Artes da Universidade de Lisboa (2018) and a postgraduate degree in Contemporary Photographic Discourses (2019) from the same institution, currently attends the Master in Photography at ÉCAL (2023-2025). Her work lives by a sensible approach to reality, without any constraint to the time, space or subject it inhabits. In her photography, she articulates themes such as the body, identity, gender, sexuality and transitivity.

Exhibiting since 2017, selected solo exhibitions include: Corpo, Dentro (UMA LULIK_, Lisbon, 2023), Rivva (Saco Azul, Porto, 2022; Prize, Vila Franca de Xira Photography Biennial, 2021) and Body to Body (Arquivo Municipal Fotográfico de Lisboa, 2017). Selected group exhibitions: Mutaciones: Conexiones Excepcionales (Casa Museo Lope de Vega, Madrid, 2024), Dez de Pentáculos (Appleton, Lisbon, 2022), Just Believe (UMA LULIK_, Lisbon, 2022), Erro 417: Expectativa Falhada (Galeria Municipal do Porto, 2021) and Em Plena Luz (Fotofestiwal, Poland, 2021; Porto Photography Biennial, 2021).
