Born in Porto (1958). She has lived in the Algarve since 1981.Post-graduate in Arts and Cultural Programming at INUAF in 2006. She participated in the Mobihome project coordinated by Nuno Faria, Loulé 2009. Her work explores different mediums, such as photography, painting, sculpture, installation and video, in order to address tensional binomials such as Nature/Human, Nature/History, Absence/Presence and Impermanence. The works she presents are fragments of a single puzzle, unfoldings of the world, sometimes in its beauty and simplicity, sometimes in its complexity and violence. She has been exhibiting in Portugal and abroad since 2000.
