He is a teacher, researcher and has a PhD in Art and Design from the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Porto (FBAUP, 2016). He also has a Master’s degree in Image Design (FBAUP, 2008) and a degree in Communication Design (FBAUP, 2003). He co-founded the GSA Design collective, where he develops projects in the area of communication. Much of his work has been dedicated to clients in the areas of culture and science, specializing in the fields of identity and editorial. He was also a senior designer in the communications department at Fundação de Serralves. Since 2010, he has co-organized the Plug and Play design conferences at ESAP, Escola Superior Artística do Porto, where he also teaches. He is a teacher at ESAD-Escola Superior de Artes e Design de Matosinhos in the Communication Design and Digital Arts and Multimedia Degrees.
