The Construction of a Gesture – Masterclass with Paulo Carneiro and screening of the film “Via Norte”(2022)

On the next 23rd of April, at 11:00 AM, the Escola Superior Artística do Porto (ESAP) will host a masterclass with the director Paulo Carneiro, in the institution’s auditorium. The session will be attended by the filmmaker, whose latest film, “A Savana e a Montanha”, was selected for the Directors’ Fortnight at the prestigious Cannes Film Festival.

Before the masterclass, the film “Via Norte” (2022), Paulo Carneiro’s second feature film, following Bostofrio (2018), will be screened. The screening will be a unique opportunity for the audience to get closer to the director’s work and reflect on his most recent projects.
