*Vera Carmo (Porto, 1980) is a curator and researcher. PhD candidate at the Faculty of Fine Arts of Porto University (FBAUP), holds a master in Curatorial Studies and a Degree in Sculpture. Currently teaches at University of Maia (ISMAI) and co-directs the independent art space Rampa (Porto). Her recent work has been focusing on the history of the moving image. Between 2019-2020 was a researcher in the project CineVideoArt-Catalogue of Films and Videos by Portuguese Artists. Her curatorial projects include What do U Want 4 Xmas? (Rampa, Porto, 2020-2021), Transubstanciação (Poste Vídeo-Arte, Porto, 2020-2022) and co-curating Guerrilla Shout- Out! Alice Neel’s Graphic Archive (Rampa, Porto, 2022).
