The ESAP Theater Course presents excerpts from King Oedipus, a text by Sophocles (translated by Maria do Céu Fialho).

We decided to reformulate a first version of Oedipus and work on the dialogue and rhythm. In this new format, Oedipus 2024 2.0, renewed version, offers a new exploration: dialogue as a duel in its rhythmic form. We kept the empty space and had more voices, bodies and languages. We think about the rhythm that we hear most in Oedipus: the verbal exchange between characters in search of light, of truth.
