ESAP will soon host Novo Olhar Frame by Frame, an initiative dedicated to strengthening the connection between higher education and audiovisual technology. The event will bring together students, lecturers and industry professionals around the latest developments in cinema and audiovisual production.
The programme will feature three talks and a hands-on equipment experimentation session, with the participation of Novo Olhar, Canon and Sony. Throughout the sessions, participants will have the opportunity to learn about new industry releases, technical innovations and current challenges shaping the audiovisual field.
In addition to the talks, the event will include a one-hour practical session in which cameras and lenses will circulate among participants, allowing direct contact with professional filmmaking equipment.
Novo Olhar Frame by Frame aims to create a space for dialogue and exchange between academia, students and key players in Portuguese cinema, reinforcing the relationship between artistic education, technological innovation and professional practice.
