Meeting with the Director of the São João National Theater at ESAP

The artistic director of the Teatro Nacional São João, Nuno Cardoso, will talk to ESAP students about his latest play, Fado Alexandrino.

On April 24, at 12 noon, director Nuno Cardoso will talk to ESAP students about his latest play, Fado Alexandrino, which adapts the novel of the same name by António Lobo Antunes.

António Lobo Antunes is one of the most important Portuguese novelists today, and the novel Fado Alexandrino is considered a crucial work about April 25, now that the 50th anniversary of the Carnation Revolution is being celebrated.

Nuno Cardoso, born in Canas de Senhorim in 1970, is one of the most important Portuguese directors of today, founder of the companies Visões Úteis and Ao Cabo Teatro, and director of the Teatro Nacional São João since 2019.
