Director, researcher, actress, and teacher in Theater courses at higher education institutions: Escola Superior Artística do Porto-ESAP and Universidade de Trás os Montes-UTAD. She is a researcher at the Arnaldo Araújo/Esap Study Center. He has published works and gives communications on Theater and performing arts at various national and international meetings. Among them at the Prague Quadrennial 2023. Still within the scope of research, Luisa Pinto is doing a Post-Doctorate at ECA – School of Communications and Arts at the University of São Paulo. She is the Artistic Director of the Narrativensaio-AC Theater Company. As a director, she took to the stage more than thirty plays, among them, Missa do Galo and Amor Solúvel by Carlos Tê, Breviário Gota D’água, based on the work of Chico Buarque, O Deserto de Medea by Marta Freitas, O Filho Pródigo by João Maria André, A Vida no Campo by Joel Neto and Anónimo Não é Nome de Mulher, by Mariana Correia Pinto, the latter, directed by António Durães, and Maria de Medea by Luisa Pinto and Joaquim Gama, among others. He signs the scenic space of most of his projects. His shows circulate throughout the country and in Brazil. Between 2007 and 2015 she was Artistic Director of the Municipal Theater of Matosinhos Constantino Nery. Since 2006, he has been researching and carrying out Theater projects in Prison Contexts. She was a presenter and author of cultural programs for RTP. She was the co-director of the documentary Breaking the Prison Walls and co-director of the Film Concerto-O Filho Pródigo. He is currently making the Documentary I WANTED TO BE EVERYTHING.
