Campanice is an informal collective of artists who have been brought together circumstantially since 2016 in a shared studio. This group is primarily characterized by their individual works and different artistic languages of each member, but also by the points of contact and affinities that emerge through friendship.

While it is essentially a workspace for collaboration and exchange among collective members, public openings have been organized since 2018 in an open studio format. These events present new creations alongside works in progress, bringing together peers from the artistic community and other interested audiences around the collective’s work and essence.

In 2021, Campanice launched the projects Linha Amarela and Campacine with regular programming. Linha Amarela occupies the window space, connecting art and the collective with the outside world and community by opening a new exhibition every two months. Here, artists are invited to create interventions that engage with both the studio space and the exterior, where their work can be viewed from outside. Meanwhile, Campacine is a program dedicated to video art, short films, and feature films, curated by Francisco Moura Relvas. Its goal is to bring filmmakers to the screenings for informal conversations with the audience.
