Lives and works in Porto. Attended the Independent studies program at Maumaus and holds a Master’s degree in Contemporary Artistic Practices from the Faculty of Fine Arts of Porto. His artistic practice is based on the exploration of painting in a studio context as well as in expanded fields. He uses digital editing to explore optically vibrant pictorial planes through the constant accumulation of sharpness flaws. He updates the divisionism and multiplicity of the early avant-gardes for a repositioning in relation to contemporary high definition.
