In Thank You Very Much the act of giving thanks is explored. If done ironically, the act of giving thanks can easily be confused with an act of disobedience. Or, at the least, be a sarcastic denunciation.
Through the creation of various performative objects conceived and presented throughout the classes, the performers were challenged to test their biographical material in a scenic identity, to which they attempt to ask different questions. (Un)Thanks are given to everything and everyone as a pretext to reflect on what makes them up as women and social personas in 2026, detecting prejudices rooted in history and noting problems in social and human structures. This is an exercise in recognition that it’s not exhausted in this presentation nor with these thanks, but extends beyond the ephemeral nature of the performance, because there is so much to be thankful for…
THANK YOU VERY MUCH
