“Starting with the Process: Pedagogical support in artistic creation projects” – ESAP promotes sharing of experiences among teachers of the CECAM consortium

On October 30th, ESAP will host the forum “Starting with the Process: Pedagogical Support in Artistic Creation Projects”,  an initiative promoted by the CECAM consortium (U. Lusófona, ESAP, ISEC, IPluso, ISLA Gaia, and ISMAT).

The event is a day of sharing and reflecting on pedagogical practices and support for students in the process of artistic creation, bringing together professors from various CECAM member institutions and ESAP students. Throughout the day, roundtable discussions and open conversations will be held dedicated to the exchange of teaching and support methodologies, with a special focus on the initial phases of artistic projects—moments of doubt, intentions, desires, and discoveries that mark the beginning of artistic creation for students who are still figuring out how to chart their own path.

The initiative aims to promote interdisciplinary dialogue and strengthen collaboration among faculty from various universities and artistic fields, recognizing the importance of feedback, active listening, and the sharing of practices in contemporary art education.

The meeting will take place between 10:00 am and 5:00 pm, at ESAP’s meeting room.
