On November 6, at 11:00 AM, ESAP will host the workshop by Abbas Zahedi titled Sound Sketching: Drawing as Listening, Listening as Movement, at the ESAP Auditorium.
The session begins with a short artist talk introducing Zahedi’s practice, followed by a collective “sonic drawing” exercise in which sound becomes a starting point for gesture, listening, and visual expression. Through live soundscapes, vocal improvisation, and movement-based responses, participants are invited to co-create a living score of marks, voices, and gestures.
According to the artist, this process aims to cultivate sensory literacy, emotional attunement, and group connection through playful experimentation.
